The mission of Books 4 Catholic Kids is threefold:

To celebrate the Christian ideals of beauty, goodness, and truth in children’s literature
To encourage awareness of the presence of God in everyday life
To spark family conversations about faith

Any comment that is, in our judgement, NOT consistent with that mission will be promptly deleted.

In defense of pronouns…

In the interest of comfortable language use, the book lessons contain male or female pronouns rather than the generic male. If possible, I use the gender pronoun for the main character of the story. In other circumstances, I use he or she in alternate book profiles.
